Our Mission

With our innovative technology, we unlock new possibilities for “space” and “the world’s skies”
through the development of generators for next-generation air mobility and engines for space rockets.

Through the development of gas turbine generators using SAF and hydrogen fuel,
and rocket engines using LOX/LNG, we aim to achieve both a carbon-free society
and advancement of air and space transportation.

Our team of highly experienced engineers in the aerospace field leverages its exceptional expertise
in high-speed rotating machinery and combustion technology to take on the challenges of creating
new industries that go beyond traditional manufacturing.

Toshinori Tanabe

During my long career conducting industrial research at the Bank of Japan, I felt a sense of crisis that while Japan possesses outstanding elemental technologies, it has failed to create a major new industry since the automotive sector.
Through my work with JUIDA, I came to understand a few critical truths: aircraft propulsion requires the power of an 'engine,' while drone control demands the precision of 'electric' motors. For industrial applications, the market needs air mobility capable of 'long-endurance, heavy-lift' operations. From these insights, the concept of a hybrid engine—a gas turbine driving a generator—was born.
In the course of this development, we created a new combustor that is 100% free of hydrogen flashback and avoids flameouts even with low fuel flow. We also developed a Halbach array generator that can be integrated with an ultra-high-speed compact turbine. Because these Small Innovative Propulsion Systems (SIPS) are also essential for reusable small rocket engines, our business scope has expanded. In addition to air mobility (with applications as portable ground generators), it now includes the development of small rocket engines and even Orbital Transfer Vehicles (OTVs).
As a manufacturer and service provider of SIPS for a wide range of aerospace applications—including air mobility, HAPS, and reusable rocket engines—our goal is to create Japan's next major industry since automobiles. To this end, we have now begun to fully leverage programs such as the Space Strategy Fund. We look forward to many of you joining us in this endeavor.
